Ok, first of all, I express my deepest sympathy to his family and wish a peaceful repose but did you all know that i read this news last night but i didn't totally get it because, one, I don't know his name and secondly, I thought he was being used as a meme for the news!-I'm so sorry but that was what i thought until i read it very well now and realized he is the one that is actually dead! I feel somehow now!
Gene Wilder (real name Jerome Silberman) the star of the classic movie Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory passed on yesterday, August 28, 2016 from complications arising from Alzheimer’s disease at age 83.
His death was announced in a statement by his nephew that read, “It is with indescribable sadness and blues, but with spiritual gratitude for the life lived that I announce the passing of husband, parent, and universal artist Gene Wilder, at his home in Stamford, Connecticut. It is almost unbearable for us to contemplate our life without him.”
Gene Wilder made most of our childhoods (or young adulthood) memorable with his role in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. He also starred in other classics like The Producers and Young Frankenstein. He is survived by his fourth wife, Karen Boyer who he got married to in 1991 and his nephew.
