High Court STOPS Obasanjo From Publishing His Autobiography...and here's why!

Former president Olusegun Obasanjo has been restrained from publishing or have someone pubslish on his behalf an autobiography titled - 'My Watch,' by an Abuja High Court.

Justice Valentine Ashi gave the order after a member of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State, Buruji Kashamu, made the request on the grounds that part of the content of the autobiography is about a letter written by Obasanjo titled 'Before it is too late' to President Goodluck Jonathan on December 2, 2013, claiming that Kashamu is a wanted person in the US for drug-related crime.

Kashumu had filed a N20bn libel suit against Obasanjo following his letter to president Jonathan, hence, the Court restrained Obasanjo from publishing the book until the determination of the libel suit against him.
