The Lagos State Police Command has arrested four men alleged to be connected to the gang that kidnapped the Lagos landlords of Oshorun Heritage Estate in the Isheri area of Lagos (Read here)
According to Punch, one of the suspects, Musa Muhammed, was nabbed on Saturday in Sapele, Delta State, while the three others were arrested in Ondo State.
Recall that the Lagos landlords and their fitness coach were abducted by gunmen during an aerobic session, and a ransom of N20m was demanded by their abductors.
Speaking with the press, a police source said Muhammed was identified by the landlords.
“The four suspects have confessed to the kidnap and one of them has also been identified by the victims. The suspects said the kidnap was carried out by 11 members of the gang,” the police source said.
Confirming the arrest, the Police Public Relations Officer, DCP Don Awunah, added that the suspects will be charged to court.
