Enugu Rangers have won the 2015/2016 Nigeria Professional Football League season after defeating El-Kanemi Warriors 4-0 under coach Imama Amapakabo. The long-awaited triumph came at a cost though, after the late horrific injury suffered by forward Ifeanyi Egwim who may be in need of medical attention abroad.
Chisom Egbuchulam is now the toast of the Coal City fans and will continue so, for years to come after he grabbed a hat-trick on the memorable day (his pics are all over facebook, even those who claim to know him before before, practiced with him etc..the love is much), with dynamic winger Osas Okoro completing the scoring to restore Nigeria’s premier club to the summit of the local scene.Rangers now join Enyimba FC as the most successful sides in the Nigerian league with seven titles.
