In a country as safe Nigeria, security agents do not have any business handling real guns. Pictured above is a Nigerian security agent, posing with a wooden gun look alike (note that it's not perfectly carved as a gun), it's just a mimicry. Agents now parade like this in the country not because they can't afford real guns but becuause the country is so safe. More interesting is the reason they carry this wooden stuff instead of being empty handed, they said it's because they've gotten used to holding something by the butt, thus they carved this wood to replace the real deal and feel at ease themselves.
