The Police in Enugu have arrested an Enugu-based pastor for allegedly being in possession of a stolen Samsung Galaxy tab 2.
A suspect who gave his name as one Jude Chukwumaife of Enugu based New Generation Church in New Haven Axis of the state is now helping the operatives of the Independent Layout Division of the State Police Command in their investigations.
It was gathered that suspect was nabbed recently by the operatives in connection with his alleged involvement in the buying of an alleged stolen Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.
Also arrested alongside the said pastor in connection with the alleged incident, is one Nwafor Anthony Chukwubuike. It was further gathered that the Samsung galaxy tab 2 is a property of a certain Armed Robbery/car snatching victim who was coming back in the night about a year back when hoodlums allegedly robbed him of some valuables including the said Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and went away.
Following the report, operatives intensified their manhunt and through intelligence information, Jude Chukwumaife was arrested and the said Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 which is said to be the property of the victim recovered from him.
The revelation of Jude guided the operatives in the arrest of Nwafor Anthony Chukwubuife suspected to have sold the alleged stolen Samsung Galaxy tab 2 to him.
Full scale investigations have commenced into the alleged incident.
