DreamFm Oap, Jude Dawam Nominated As 'Best Supporting Actor' In His First Movie 'Mummy Why' Alongside Jide Kosoko, Blossom Chukwujekwu & Others

Enugu's Dreamfm OAP and Head of program, Jude Dawam has been nominated as 'Best Supporting Actor' in his first feature movie, Mummy Why at the Cross River Movie Awards.

The multi-talented media personality effectively played the role of 'Mallam Sanusi' - an illiterate Hausa petty trader in the movie directed by Ernest Obi and produced by Nnaemeka 'Naniboi' Eze.  He interpreted the role so well that his fans couldn't believe it was the same 'Uncle Jude they hear over the radio' that played Mallam Sanusi., and I think that's the sole reason he was nominated alongside veterans in the make believe business despite this being his first movie ever. It's quite a feat!

Other actors nominated in the same category include Blossom Chukwujekwu (in Knocking on heaven's door), Jide Kososko (All 4 the money) Ken Chukwu (Juju) Emma Etokudor (Ogodoh).
