The Unprofessional & Horrible Attitudes Of Interviewers At Linda Ikeji Media Recruitment (Applicants Share Their Stories)

It's no longer news that Linda Ikeji is recruiting people for her newly launched media business, Linda Ikeji Media. She has at-least 16 vacant positions. And as clearly stated on her blog, she's not directly involved in the recruitment, interested candidates are to submit the CVs, get called and then interviewed by her 'team' of Human resource personnel...disappointingly this 'team' is made up of just two men (one slim and one fat).

According to some candidates who made it to the 'fine office', they were disappointed with the whole interview process especially at the 'team' of HR personnel, whom they described their attitude as horrible disgusting and unprofessional , very tantamount to destroying whatever objective Linda has for her business.

The horrible experiences as shared;

"I was kept for 3 hours, 4 minutes. A turnoff because I value my time and no updates were given while I waited. I tried to stay entertained by watching Linda’s brother walk around the premises. One or two persons looked recognizable. Her kid sister I think but man, I was bored to death"

Eventually, I was called. Two men made up the panel. The two men were to screen from a pool of candidates comprising of accountants, editors, engineers, customer care, IT professionals etc
I refuse to question the effectiveness of that.

The chief interviewer said this to an interviewee;

“I’m sure you are one of those people who want to work here so they can boast to their friends, I work for Linda Ikeji. I’m working in Linda Ikeji media,” mimicking a sissy’s manner of speaking.“You want to work here because you've seen fine office abi. I hope you know this is a high pressured environment with targets.”

'I was there. I also thought that fat guy was forcing professionalism. he told me anybody can do content too, that its just to copy and paste from Google. i told him i was sorry, i thought they were looking for creativity. psh!'...another applicant shared
