Mr Chike Ananti, was nabbed by the officers and men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, in Anambra state.
Briefing newsmen on the handiwork of the suspect, the Assistant commander Operations and Intelligence of the Agency, Mr Inalegwu Ameh, noted that the suspect who he said is a drug kingpin, had been on the wanted list of the Agency.

Mr Ameh, said further that Mr Ananti, a native of Onitsha, and has a residential home in Ojiba street Inland town Onitsha, was caught with two hundred and thirty-nine point eight grams of cocaine and one hundred and nineteen point two grams of heroin.
The Assistant commander expressed surprise that the suspect who he said is an ex-convict having served a jail sentence after being found guilty of drug trafficking, has remained resolute in causing unrest in the society by his continued involvement in drug trafficking.
Mr Ameh, assured the citizenry of their determination to rip the state of the act especially now that Christmas is around the corner, as according to him, Anambra is blessed with a Governor who is ready to go an extra mile to maintain security of lives and property of the citizenry.
Efforts made to speak to the suspect Mr Ananti, proved abortive as he declined speaking to newsmen, as according to him, he was not in the mood
