Kim Kardashian has slapped a lawsuit against popular blog, MediatakeOut over claims that she lied about and staged her Paris robbery incident.

According to reports, Kim filed the suit yesterday at a Manhattan federal court and her complaint was that she was wrongly portrayed as a liar and thief because of three posts written by MTO claiming she staged the robbery.

Kim’s legal team reportedly contacted MTO to take down the post but they refused at the time and now Kim is dragging them to court. Since the news of Kim’s robbery broke, the media has made light of the incident despite reports that the KUWTK star was left seriously traumatized by it all.

Yesterday, a company called Costumeish sparked a major outrage online for selling a Halloween costume called “Parisian Heist Robbery Victim.” The costume kit includes a short white robe, a long black wig, large sunglasses, a fake gag, two inches of rope and a fake “$4 million dollar” ring.

With all these insensitive reactions to Kim’s robbery, it is really no surprise the mother of two is taking legal action.

Khloe Kardashian spoke out about Kim’s emotional well-being during an appearance on Ellen Degeneres yesterday. “I mean, [Kim’s] not doing that well … It’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her. But our family is super close and great and we’ll get through this together. We do appreciate all of you guys’ love and support. It will take time.” she stated.

She also added that the incident was a wake-up call to make a lot of life adjustments.

Meanwhile, fans are questioning the authenticity of the Paris robbery after Radar online shared the footage from after the incident online yesterday. The footage suggests Kim may have over-exaggerated.
