Months after Amber Rose blatantly rejected identifying with being black, the TV host is back, claiming that heritage, a move that is currently earning her a lot of backlash on social media.
The drama started after Amber Rose shared a new photo of herself wearing a Marilyn Monroe-inspired wig, and fans hopped on the post to talk about her identity. Irritated, Rose posted a new photo with a saucy caption.
“I am Black/Portuguese/Irish and Italian,” she said, before adding, “So now y’all can stop arguing in my fuckin comment about it.”
While her caption was meant to clarify and end the argument in her comment section, the TV star only created opportunity for fans to drag her, their reason being that not long ago, same Rose rejected the black community.
In her January interview, when asked about her heritage, here’s what she said:
“I do not consider myself a black woman. Absolutely not.“
