Boluwatife Tijani, 12, emerged the overall winner of this year’s edition of the Lagos State Spelling Bee competition among pupils in the public primary schools. She is a primary six pupil and head girl of Araromi Primary School, Orile-Agege.
The competition was organized by the newly established Office of Education Quality Assurance to enhance students’ spelling, vocabulary skills and the correct use of English.
