Zhang from Nanling, China, while on his way to meet his mum, drove past a fatally injured bloodied elderly woman on the side of the road. After arriving at his mother’s house and realizing she was out, he rushed back to the scene, only to discover the bitter truth. He immediately called an ambulance but his mother died from her injuries on the way to the hospital.
Police later found a driver who admitted to the hit-and-run. Drivers or passersby in China are always hesitant to help strangers in need. In recent years there have been reports of money being extorted from the “good Samaritans” by the very people they try to assist. Last year, a man, Wu Weiqing, killed himself after the family of an injured elderly man he stopped to help accused him of knocking down the pensioner and insisted he must foot the bill….* Zhang has since been trying to turn back d hands of time but the hands are just too stiff…….
Yeah that’s quite sad and a complete irony. I truly believe in karma and agree this to be this case. But all of us are like that only. My Dad used to work with a DUI lawyer and he often tells how people run away after crashing into someone. I hope their karma also do justice to them.
