Enugu a.k.a Coalcity, a.k.a 042 is undoubtedly Eastern states' capital and that's where you can actually behold some big Igbo(non-igbos too) boys who knows or wants to spend their money, whether hard earned or not!
For the benefits of JJC's in the beautiful city or those outside the city, below are the features of an average big boy in the coal city;
1) Source of Income; They are usually hard working and they work mostly in Banks, Telecom companies, Private firms (which are few in th state) and then Online business *coughs*
2) House; An average big boy in the city normally lives in a self contained room which is usually either 1 or 2 rooms in the usual areas of New Haven, GRA, Trans Ekulu and in the numerous estates within the town- in the boys quarters though. This is because these houses in the estates are usully expensive and habited by politicians, moguls and top notch big boys if not bigger boys!
3) Car; An average Enugu big boy basically has a Toyota Camry 2.2 (Just like Timaya). Basically i said, because they may buy more cars and of different models, but for a start it's Toyota Camry 2.2. You would notice this if you are in the state or takes a trip to the state..Toyota should consider rewarding the boys in Coalcity for their loyal patronage.
4) Fashion Sense; This is one thing they don't joke with. Starting from their haircuts, to their crispy shirts and pants, ironed and washed in reputable laundry houses, their accesories (including sunshade,wrist watches and blings) which may be real designers or original fake designers..hope you understand what i mean here!. In a nutshell, an average Enugu big boy doesn't joke with his looks and they have this special place they go to, to achieve this. These places are made popular by this same guys, as they tend to copy each others good look or look good as other guys, most importantly to secure a better babe!
5) Relationship; They are known for their long chains of girlfriends, each for each occasion, eg, Clubbing GF; this one clubs with him, she may/may not be good looking but surely knows how to twerk and rock the hell out of a man. Chilling GF; this one is seen around him when he is out with his friends, she must be good looking and averagely has strong head for drinks. Formal event GF; depending on what the guy does, this babe follows him to his informal meetings with his friends or colleagues in the evening at bars, she must be good looking too and intelligent, atleast she is allowed to make suggestions as they discuss business over their drinks. The Main Chick- you already know whom she is, and many more babes that serve for one purpose in their own capacity!
6) Social Life; Even before stardom, Flavor,Runtown,Phyno and Selebobo have been rocking in clubs and other social places in the state, that's to tell you that Enugu boys don't joke with their social activities. Even with the little presence of social places in the state when compared to some other states like Lagos. An average Enugu big boy must at each evening and compulsorily every weekend chill out and club respectively. It's like a rule of law for them..them must heed to it! No wonder areas like Independence Layout, GRA, New haven, with high concentration of lounges and clubs get busy and filled every Fridays with cars (with Camry 2.2 leading the pack of cars)
7) Gadgets; These boys have love for gadgets, especially new ones and if they could go queue up for Apple gadgets, they would willingly do so! An average Enugu big boy could spend his last naira to have the latest model of a specific phone, if there is no money on him, he would sell the previous model he has to get a new one. It's so common among them, then if he is a real big boy, he could own up to 4 or more smart phones.
8) Lastly, Wizkid got nothing on them when it comes to showing off! Go check out their social media handles or have a little casual chat with them, it's about how much he bought this and that. They are hell bent on watching Trace Tv or other pop culture channels just to check out latest fashion styles or fashion pieces...and once they are up with something new,..they hit the club, or gym or barbing salon- that's where they show off the most.
Don't ask me how i knew all these, lol!
