No price can be put on the lives of the people who lost their lives in the Synagogue Church Of All Nations Building Collapse of September 12, 2014, however the leader of the church, Pastor TB Joshua has volunteered to pay the families of each person who lost their life in the collapse N750,000 each.
The tragedy claimed the lives of at least 115 people, 86 of which were South Africans.
In other related news According to The Nation, Pastor T.B. Joshua’s theory that a low-flying plane caused the tragic collapse has been thrashed by a witness Olayinka Adebayo, who said there was no sign of foul play at the site of the tragedy. The witness said this while giving evidence at the Coroner’s Inquest in Lagos.
He told the hearing that his initial assessment on the day did not suggest foul play or a terror attack.
He said, “If the building had been bombed, the bodies would have been badly mutilated”
The coroner has requested that Joshua appear at the Inquest on 5 November.
This may linger more than expected with these current counter testimonies and theories!
