Feauture Gist; Why Do Ladies Flare Up When Another Lady Says/Claims She's A Virgin??

This may not be a surprise question or idea to everyone especially amongst adults. Few days back while i was still considering on setting up this blog, i visited a girlfriend of mine who's a final year student living alone alongside other lodge mates. Amidst our gists and hearty laughters, we heard noises from an adjacent room- as natural naija babes and humans at that we ran out to know what's up and the cause of the noise at that hot afternoon.

To my utmost discovery after a long heated argument and inquiries, the flimsy cause of the quarrel that almost led to a fight was that one of the babes, said abi claimed she be virgin-Say what? That was my reaction, i mean who's business is it and why has it caused such chaos and honestly this isn't the first time i'm getting such surprising hating abi angered response when ever people especially ladies hears that a fellow babe is a virgin!

Back to the gist, out of my long held curiosity i decided to call out of one the babes, and asked her why  the revelation is making her loose her sanity, so she vented her anger on me screaming on top of her voices saying that "it can't be", "infact it's white lie" and so many things she said which i summarize as follows; (now i will use pseudonames) Ada cannot and  is not a virgin,I have known her since year one, she has dated various boys if not men, kept late night outs and even slept out and she's here forming Virginia for us, it can't be!" She screamed! These and more she said alongside her other room mate.,Meanwhile, Ada kept laughing at them when her own voice of defense could no longer be heard, all she could say, is that 'I'm a virgin, i know you won't believe it, but i don't care!!' 

 Choi, it was indeed hot right in there, but for real why should this happen, yes on several occasions people whom in our own social standard and eyes has rated and labeled spoilt girls come out and proclaim themselves virgins, we all call them bluffs. But why is it such a source of anger and dispute amongst ladies..well i did a kind of street talk, and got few opinions about that, here are what some people think it is the reason behind the hate;
* Because the non-virgins are angry that what they probably lost on a platter of gold is still been held onto by others and they still live their lives normally
* Because they were probably deceived into loosing it and to avoid being intimidated by the not-deceived virgins, they flare up.
*  Because they bluntly believe that no sociable adult female can be a virgin!
 Well, that's the summary i could make from their opinions, what do you think is the reason??
